Wharton Seminars for Business Journalists in Hong Kong: May 24, 2007

One Day Program Includes Session Focused on International Banking, Management and the Global Economy

What: Through intensive lectures and hands-on exercises, the Wharton Seminars for Business Journalists, led by Wharton’s most prominent professors, help participants gain better understanding of key business and economic issues. The program, now in its 39th year, offers participants an opportunity to expand their knowledge, increase their exposure to leading experts and broaden their perspectives in a stimulating environment. This English language program is free of charge and open to a limited number of journalists.

When: May 24, 2007

Where: The Wharton Seminars will hold a daylong session at the Four Seasons Hotel, Hong Kong, in conjunction with the Wharton Global Alumni Forum also taking place in Hong Kong

Key Take-Aways: Today’s global economy requires a strong foundation in business and economic knowledge for business journalists. At the Wharton Seminars for Business Journalists, participants:

--Learn the about the most recent international banking trends and China’s key role

--Gain an in-depth understanding of the fundamentals of Chinese corporate strategy including the role of leadership, leveraging resources and vision; and

--Interact with colleagues from some of the world's leading business news organizations.
